Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark on the screen. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas and studied in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long. She soon moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she enjoyed acting. After that, she relocated to New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. The role was Marisol Delko, who is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory who is Italian through origin. Her family was the strictest and most religious family. Milano's career began at age seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. She was one of the four girls selected from among more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano appeared in commercials for television and off-Broadway shows including the very first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
